Gone off track Off topic discussion on Mercedes vs BMW from iX3 thread

I mentioned that it was a marketing strategy like the inext. This car has absolutely no defining characteristics within the industry or the brand. The driver's display will return in the future, and they'll get rid of this nonsense. It would be a shame if they applied this interior concept to other models. BMW made the same mistake with the interior as Mercedes did with the EQ exterior. They're starting a period of regret. Since the arrival of the iDrive 8 screen, the designs have been failing.

What kind of “defining characteristics” does GLC EV have within the industry or the Mercedes brand? 🤣
Even Mercedes themselves doesn’t defend their products this much 🤣🤣🤣. They should start paying you at this point, or give a free vehicle 🤣🙏🏻

The GLC has a luxurious appearance befitting a premium manufacturer. The screened cabins you criticized look more luxurious than the IX3. It's nothing more than a Tesla with a styling update. You know that too. Your disappointment will come out later...

So iX3 is not worthy of being a premium manufacturer product? Yikes 🤣.
As an i5 owner we are extremely with our electric BMW. Luxurious, comfortable and intuitive. It does look funny just randomly commenting about modern BMW’s without even experiencing them.
Just to let you know, before we got the i5, we also checked the new E-Class, and also the EQE. Both of two left us extremely underwhelmed, especially the latter. So much plastic stuff, trim sound everywhere. It “just” looks good. So much chrome, wood and bits of plastic to cover up how mediocre the quality is. BMW is consistent with their interior quality, at least has been consistent until the new X3. Everyone said the new 5er had a bad interior quality too but it was so much better than the main rivals, which ended up being our new daily.
So, commenting not only about the brand but also about my personal thoughts, and saying “your disappointment will come later” is so funny to me, because it won’t.
Maybe try these cars out at the dealers and check some of the bits, since you can’t truly experience them on a daily basis. :)

You're kidding yourself. The ix3's cabin is just as cost-prohibitive as the X3's. The new GLC is at least more promising in appearance, and judging by the details, the quality issues seem to have been addressed. The ix3 seemed like a lower-end car. Just wait until Sunday.

Why would I care about what I’m seeing online unless I’m experiencing everything in real life? 🤣
I’ll see how it is when they land at the dealers.
iX3’s cabin is totally fine, just not your taste.
It’s ok to not like something. ;)
