I was very impressed by the previous Maybach concepts, but this doesn't look good at all especially regarding the part of the back which you can see until now.

I have always wondered how it would look if the SUV body is not a wagon but a sedan. This concept looks very promising and utterly luxurious.

Sales numbers is not the topic here but the product itself. Alfa cars are being tested against and cross shopped with the premium German brands.

I like Alfas a lot, but regretfully Italy has lost its ability to efficiently produce automobiles. In Italy are annually produced less than 600 000 autos all together (most FIATs are produced in Poland and Brazil)

I hope that picture is just a render because it just looks like a raised Maybach 6..

Have you sat in a base Giulia? Quality is horrible and there's little space for taller people. I was offered one as an Enterprise rental sometime back, and I opted for a better built Hyundai Sonata instead.

Crazy discounts too because they aren't selling well:

wow, the picture of the maybach suv looks pretty good despite my rejection for suvs regarding their looks.

PS: Alfa is a premium brand for me.

I said over a year ago Giulia sales would be at Jaguar XE levels or slightly above. That's largely been true. These discounts aren't unheard amongst cars that aren't the C-class/A4/3-series (although these get cheap leases). Infiniti dealers will dump cash on Q50's too.

Beating the XE in sales figures is not much of an accomplishment. The XE had fail written all over it.

It's a pity that modern Jaguar sedans (XE,XF,XJ) have become non-entities. I can still recall how the series I and II XJs' could accelerate my pulse.

Meh Alfa should be grateful for even achieving that. They had no presence anywhere in the luxury realm in the U.S. before this, after all. It will be embarrassing for them if the Genesis G70 sells better though. Definitely will be a less risky car from a reliability standpoint...
