C-Class (W204) Mercedes-Benz W204 C-Class Product Update/Facelift (Spy pics & info)

The Mercedes-Benz W204 is the third generation of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. The W204 platform was also used for the E-Class Coupé (C207). Model codes: W204 (sedan), S204 (station wagon / estate), C204 (coupé). Production: March 2007 – March 2014 (sedan), February 2007 – March 2014 (station wagon), 2011–2015 (coupé). Model years: 2008–2014, 2012–2015 (coupé)
The 2011 got LEDs standard on the C350 Sport models for the U.S. They facelift hasn't dropped yet, the Leds are just a yearly update.

So it's only for the C350's then? I thought it was for all C's.

A bit weird, but I've already seen two (white and grey) C class with LEDs on the bumper like the S class here in Canada, with no camo. And it does not look aftermarket, looks like the FL to me but it's not revealed yet  sorry but no pictures.

BTW..isn't this car out yet? I could swear I saw a white C-class running around San Fran with those front LED fogs. It wasn't disguised or anything and there was a blond chick driving it. I'm hella confused.

I'm confused too, today i saw a silver C180K with those LEDs as well.

Guys, the LED DRLs were added to the C-Class already a year ago ;): http://www.germancarforum.com/c-class/30736-official-2010-c-class-upgrades.html

They are optional (or available in selected models depending on the market) and have nothing to do with the actual facelift which is coming next year. :usa7uh:

Yeah, looks like Mercedes changed the strategy last year: instead of keeping the changes for the FL (except minor technical updates in response to complaints), they are now constantly updating the cars every year.

Ex: the GL and R-Class had the mirrors and steering wheel of the FL ML, before getting their own FL. Or the W212 E-Class now has straight LEDs DRL instead of hockey ones save for the AMG packed. The W204 C-Class and GLK have LEDs DRL where the fogs were. The Blind-Spot and Lane-Keep of the CL and S-Class became "active", regardless of any FL...

True. It seems those KIA air vents are gone, and there´s a a center console with alu trim.. Any changes they apply to the car will be for the best, they can´t go any worse.

Quite sad if you call the plastic mess in the current C 'quality' ;)
But of course, feel free to call the current W204 interior quality. It's by far the biggest downside of the current car imo. I really hope the interior of the FL gets a major overhaul.

U make it sound like if the W204 is competing with F01. ;)

The interior of the W204 is really pathetic.

Sure it's quality in the sense of being expectingly rough and rigorous, and it has great fit and finish, however, it lacks ANY premium feel, or refinement/luxury.

W203 interior>>>>>>>>>>>>W204 interior.

Obviously Mercedes has been listening, because it seems the W204 might get the most extensive interior makeover any of us have ever witnessed. It was really "cheap" of them to think the originals was passable for a Mercedes-Benz, even a "Baby-Benz" entry-leveler.

Since M-B interiors are getting more and more similar to each other, I wonder how the W204's will look compared to the W212 and new CLS,
.

Here's a spypic of the interior of the C-Class Coupe, I assume it will be the same as the C-Class...

I think it's not the quality of the current C-Class that can be questionned, the plastics are well-made and well assembled.

However, the whole looks rough, spartan, and quite cheap indeed. That pic shows a sensible improvement, undoubtedly.

Do I see a strip of wood stretching from the C-console over across to the glove box.

Nice upgrade!

Seems like a good improvement! The quality of the W204 interior parts was never the problem, it is better than Audi A4 and on par with the facelifted E90 3er.

Uh Oh...Is someone getting ready to change their name to Benzer? High praise for the C-class coming from you? Benz must be really doing a good job. ;)

In my opinion I've been quite favorable in my opinion about the C-Class all along. ;)

This is what I said about the interior nearly three years ago:

Anyway, there's nothing wrong with the quality of the interior. I've yet to spend enough time to thoroughly examine the new A4 interior but the C-Class interior is quality-wise on par with the 3 Series. The problem that most people have with it is the design and the relatively small trim panels not the actual quality.
