:eusa_doh: Ok..guess I finally made a mistake. ;)

BTW I am surprise to see the C interior get such a major makeover for just a facelift.

Me too, but it needed it, and M-B obviously realized, they couldn't get away with leaving that cheap thing in there, 'till 2015.

I agree with everyone, M-B interiors, to me, are at the tip of durability, and quality plastics right now (even the ones that use a LOT of plastics, like the W204), and the 204's interior feels quality in the sense of it lasting a lifetime, and being bomb-proof, and precisely fit and put together.

It's just the crudeness of it, they didn't go to any lengths to make it feel soothing in there. Even the plastics, as strong as they feel, have a "sticky"/rubbery feel that traps dirt, they could have refined them a bit further.

Not to mention, the "Atari" era/1980's design of the interior. Terrible. Last thing it feels like, is a "Mercedes-Benz".

The new interior seems to be more appropriate for an M-B (even C-Class) by far. Too bad it's using so many pieces from other M-B's though. Same exact head-unit and chrome keys under it as the CLS???? :eusa_doh: LOL.

Hi guys,
I check with several auto websites and haven't found any info about the update C class at the 2010 Paris auto show which should start some time this Friday. Does that mean MB will introduce it at the 2011 Detroit auto show?

More likely Geneva along with the Coupe.
Thanks Scott. I thought it is a bit too long. Unless it is an extensive update.

We should be seeing this car very soon, like a month or so....I think. They may officially unwrap it at Detroit.

If the car get those frontlights then its a step backwards.

Agreed, the current headlights are one of the strong points of the C class! The're awesome and all they need is CLS style LED tech :D

love the front bumper. Very sculpted.

This isn't bad for a facelift, but MB needs to stop using the same bumper design since the facelifted W211 in '06.

The revised interior will make me love the C more than the 3 for the first time.

WOW, what an upgrade on the interior, night and day difference. It looks like a completely new model. Not even M-B thought they could get away with keeping the current W204's 80's worthy P.O.S inside. I've never seen such an extensive interior makeover for a F.L.

The whole head unit down to the A/C is about IDENTICAL to the CLS, with the same A/C unit (that the CLS is for some reason using from the original W204, so it's really a downgrade to the CLS), and even the chrome buttons, which the E-Class doesn't even have.

Wow, much better interior..! I suspect the trim around the aircon vents will run the length of the dash, seperating upper console and cubbyhole. Much needed.. Does anyone know if the C350 will get a DI Turbo engine?

I agree. The interior is much better. I wonder if the front seats would be new too. On the exterior side, the shape of the headlamps will be changed a bit, the grille will be the same.Engines will be updated , so will the price.

Why in the world would Benz even think about changing the shape of the headlights on the C-class? Bad move if they do.

Love the interior though.

The shape of the headlights would be close to the new CLS which could be a good thing. I think this facelift will keep the C more competitive before the new 3er shows up in about 1 year.
