I have said it for a long time now. The EQ line up has been a cancer for MB. It's fugliness spreading across the line up like a virus.

I think the S class is where that stops. It's probably the last of this language and was too far done to be changed.

Ola will destroy this company. With his ‘cost-cutting’ program, he has completely devalued the brand. Mercedes is producing below-average quality, 2024 was an absolute record year for the number of recalls, yet they’re still raising prices. All for higher profits for the Arabs (the majority owners).
But people aren’t blind, which is why sales are already going downhill.

Probably. But I just looked at the prices on the website. I almost fell off my chair. You can't get a decent S-Class for under 150k.

Dunno about you guys but don’t you think the S needs to be bigger now? It has remained the same size for quite a while now, Exactly same since since the W221 gen to be exact :
(N.B Both models are LWB)

The W224 should definitely gain a size advantage for more presence, SWB version should be around 5,3M long & 1,55M height . For LWB model it should be around 5.5M (Maybach will have to move to 5.7M long) . it is the “S-class” afterall.

Even the W214 E-Class has caught up with the W223 SWB in size, it’s not that much bigger anymore :

This is the current W223 LWB vs 7 Series G70 SWB. The 7 is bigger in it’s normal format.

Merc needs to understand that the S-class is the “Halo Mercedes” it’s a Godly model within the Merc range, So it must be treated as such.
