So far I have a positive impression. A ton more presence, more glitz, the interior is better flowing (previously I thought the entertainment unit screen appeared glued on), overall increased the “S Class” factor. Mind you, I have no issue whatsoever with the S looking too much like the E inside and out. To me it comes to a car brand’s design dna and I don’t care which model got the DNA first. For what it is worth, also, the super screen is way more expensive looking here than what the GLC has.

I am looking forward to learn more on the V8 model. The S580e is also interesting, same power as E 53 essentially, with 60 miles of electric only range. Also; dying to know whether the S 63 will give us a different setup from E Performance. Rumors of P2 or even mild hybrid setups are interesting.

It's mediocre. Im sure a beautiful ride & solid quality but the previous 2 generations of S class seemed far more exciting & unique. This generation bores me a bit & the facelift did nothing to change my opinion.
