The 7 Series looks 10x better designed than the S

Nope. You can’t say that. Mercedes is always better. 🍻🤣
What is all this sh!t throwing going on here? I have not seen @AbsoluteUnit critisize MB once but can you say you are anymore objective with BMW?

This car looks bad but some of you enjoy it so much that is weird even to read it on the phone.

It’s just a car!

Woah nelly. What did I do?
I've criticised mercedes plenty of times. I mean have you seen the EQ cars? Damn abominations. I criticise them all.

Yeah that's exactly the point. It's just a car.
People are acting like this is the end of the world. It's just a facelift for a car.

Initial reaction

+ headlight shape and more imposing grille gives it more presence, though some may prefer the pre-FL's understated look.
+ a little bit more inlay trim, esp. on the center console and front door cards.
+ updated engines

- too many stars! I get with so many new car brands out there that may rip off M-B's, you really want the crowd to know it's a Mercedes-Benz without having to have large font type plastered on the trunklid (hence why I suspect so many established carmakers plaster their name brand rather than just an emblem.) But, between the grille, the headlights, and the rear light cluster, there are just too many stars, it's just kitschy.
- the piano black frame around the grille. Detracts from the car's elegance.
- still too much piano black inside.
- not enough physical switchgear. I do like how the few buttons are integrated on the bottom lip of the screen.
- super-duper hyper screen

It’s not directed at him mate, obviously just a joke, lol.

:( probably one of the least successful facelifts I've seen in a while...
You’re surprised. Mercedes designers stopped being able to tell their own finger from their own ass a long time ago. They didn’t have the brains to properly integrate the instrument panel in front of the driver.
