but this is not even the same brand anymore since the W222.

Mercedes never fails with their rims.

Gotta love them for it. Why did they use the old wheel designs for the press though? These specific wheels are literally 10 years old, was used first on the previous generation GLS63. After that came the GLC AMG’s, then ended up on the S-Class.

I prefer the exterior of the current model. A few updates and quality improvements in the cabin would have been enough. They killed the S-Class.
