They better bring the V12 back in the Maybach, even an S600 V12 in the normal S-class should be available.

They could offer the V12 as a small series Modell ( less than 1000 cars/yr in Europe), which should be enough for the European market.
In that case there are waivers for several laws regarding the homologation of the car, Morgan uses it for their cars as well.
