S-Class (W223) Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W223) Facelift 2024

The Mercedes-Benz W223 is the seventh generation of the S‑Class full-size luxury sedan, produced by Mercedes-Benz since 2020. It replaces the W222 S‑Class which had been produced since 2013.
Unfortunately It appears there are two discussions running on these W223 FL photos.

To me the car under full camo is more than just a W223 FL. The rear appears even more sloped and lithe and they are using camo cut outs on the rear windows and pillars and rear screen typically reserved for MB coupes. The rear doors may also be missing?

Maybe I'm dreaming. I am hoping for some of sort coupe conversion like the first generation CLK.
If they can make anything as beautiful as the C217 I will be in awe. Specially if they put in a big ol' V8 (or even a V12, pretty please Mercedes)

No I doubt we'll get anything near as bespoke. I'm thinking more like below.

I'm so desperate for desirable product from MB I'll take anything these days. LOL

I doubt very much we getting a S coupe but we can hope or dream.

That roof slope is strange one definitely not the regular sedan

I think this is the new EQS that will receive a major update on the EVA2 platform. Mercedes may have given up on the facelift in 2025.
That is an interesting speculation. IMHO, even under the abundant camouflage, the prototype can be identified as a car that features proportions far more attractive than those of the current EQS sedan.

Star shaped indicators at the front and apparently stars in the rear lights. What’s with the cladded rear view side mirrors? Just another indicator light design or is there some tech behind it, I wonder.

That grille...... Hopefully it'll turn out beautiful.

All it IMO needs is different rear lights. The current ones look cheap and don't fit the car at all.
