S-Class (W221) Mercedes-Benz S-Class W221 Picture Thread

The Mercedes-Benz chassis code W221 is the fifth generation S-Class, produced from August 2005 until June 2013. The W221 S-Class was unveiled at the 2005 Frankfurt Motor Show as the successor of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W220) and the predecessor of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222).

Every time I start thinking that the W221 is starting to look a bit passe due how I see the W212 looking like a W221 done more modernly and interestingly, I see a W221 that reminds me of why it is still a surprisingly timeless design ("surprisingly" because it introduced the beginnings of a design language that seemed questionable in its timelessness), and continues to exude class and premium nature.

The W221 is one S that really looks good when dressed out like that
You could hardly do that with the W220, let alone the W140. Thay were too formal and plain looking.

S-Class owners are the best parallel parkers. The owner of the car in front confirms that the S-Class is the last car to park, so does not appear to have simply been locked in. [HASHTAG]#happeningnow[/HASHTAG]

Just curious, how does the owner of the car in front confirm that the S-Class was the last car to park ?

Okay I misunderstood what you wrote, I wonder if the S had the auto-park feature ? If not, yes that is a tricky parking job. I would have parked elsewhere myself !
