It kinda looks like they used the doors and center console of the GLC, but grafted on new vents and the dual screens.

Well, this is basically the GLC interior with the new dual screens and new air vents.

So it will basicslly be a Frankenstein interior.

What a disappointing misstep by MB. This is another interior blunder after launching the G-Class without the new command infotainment with a sleeker touchpad or the A-Class new HVAC controls.

It's not a can, its at what cost. Given the EQC is a new model line it makes sense for them to invest in the interior more. Why they didn't do more for the AMG GT 4-door I"ll never know.

As for the Model 3, pass. They really do drive well, but after having extensive seat time in a couple of I'm over it. The rear seat is just plain uncomfortable and I'm not on board with the ultra minimalist interior design. they could at least added trim to the doors and used better materials.
The one i was in was $51k delivered to your door. Sure, if you don't like the minimalist design, but i thought it's what an all electric car should be. I'd say the EQ is going to come in at a pretty high retail number.

The EQ range should have totally bespoke switchgear to differentiate it out as the techno laden models..

We'll see. My MBUSA contacts seem to be confident it'll slip in under $50k for a base model. Regardless, they'll have the EQA to peddle in due time as well.

EDIT: Looks like I got the prices mixed up...EQA will touch below $50k.

If they are able to hit that number then they'll have a winner. Assuming that MBUX is standard, which should put them at or near the top of tech.

Yikes- sorry, need to retract. Just looked at my phone for the notes I took post convo; I take that sub $50k number back for the EQC...that's for the EQA. Forgive my sloppiness.

I'm surprsed that MB were making much of an issue regarding the front 'black panel' grill section on the EQ C and EQ A concepts, but is doesn't make it to production?, in fairness it may be a long shot but why give false hopes lol..
