E-Class (W211) Mercedes-Benz E-Class W211 facelift. Spy pic thread.

The Mercedes-Benz W211 is the third generation of the E-Class range. Made from 2002 to 2009 in sedan/saloon (W211) and station wagon/estate (S211) configurations – replacing the W210 E-Class models and superseded by the Mercedes-Benz W212 in 2009. Production: January 2002 – April 2009 (sedan), February 2002 – June 2009 (station wagon).
Oh you know that is a given. Every "500" car will become a "550" before 2006 is over with. Mercedes' newest engines always trickle into every product they have within a year. I think the E/CLS/CLK 550 models will be bargains for Mercedes buyers considering the power is above that of the W210 E-Class AMG "55" and the current CLK55. That is way cool IMO.

With a car like the CLS550 having 388hp is there any need to get a CLS63? Not really, but of course it will be even faster still.

I read in this weeks autoexpress that the facelift E class will be shown at the New York motor show. Dont know if thats the magazine just speculating or if they have had some info. on its debut..

I'd believe that since it will likely go one sale worldwide in June/July. This is a very important even for MB and the E-Class in general. New York gets a lot of media coverage, like Detroit, and they have enough going on in Geneva it seems. That still leaves out the CL, but I'm counting on it to be shown in May at the new museum opening.
