Yikes! So much empty space on light coloured cars. I think the sedan and wagon really softens the blow of these. Not that I have the cash for it but would love to see an AMG black series of this model. It's just lower than the C class coupe and would look so sexy purposefully widebodied.

One thing you could always count on is making a great looking front, the best in the business.... nobody can do a front like M-B.

Even the CLS who everybody knows how I feel about has a beautiful front.

However, the E Sedan and E Coupe facelifts look about a decade and a half backwards. Terrible fronts, off-proportioned, lacking in aggression because it looks like it's trying to hard to be aggressive, headlights are looking like W220 style, they're formed and designed with no respect to the "previous style angular idiom" of the rest of the cars they're on, etc.

I hope Wagener doesn't screw up M-B's hallmark: Insta-Classic front ends.

Happy they left the ponton fender on the coupe and cabriolet. Strange they did away with it on the saloon, then? Loving the front. Nice resolution of the overly angular pre facelift.

The lights on the red one look a bit too cartoony for me. Especially in the smaller pics...

Probably need to see it in person. I do like the existing C Coupe. Not sure yet.
