I agree. This is a magnificent car. I have to admit, I'm still not in love with the interior but the overall impression is one of very high quality ...as is expected.

Am I the only one who thinks this AMG 40th anniversary thing is a big marketing BS story?
I mean, Mercedes AMG only exists a couple of years. Before that AMG was just a ricy third party tuner. Even Audi's S/RS model line is older and more genuine IMO

Of course it is all marketing but I still think AMG is worthy of promoting its 40th anniversary ...I don't consider it to be disingenuous.

Yep and it is true, they got their start in 1967 and there was really nothing "ricey" about anything they've done.

While every single person in this world knows about quality of the Benz interiors, somehow, imo, the CF trim doesn't suite this ultimate luxury coupe... Don't get me wrong and don't set me on fire! I think that some nice black/beige Designo combo would suit this car better than CF trim..

I get what you're saying here. I think that with all the beige leather wood would be better too, but with black leather (or strangely enough in the 57S, white leather) the carbon fiber is really hot looking.
