Brabus has revealed its upgrade program for the 2014 E63 AMG Wagon and will show it starting tomorrow at the Essen Motor Show.

The German super wagon has been taken to a new level courtesy of Brabus who have increased the displacement of the V8 twin-turbo engine from 5,461cc to 5,912cc and also installed custom turbos with bigger compressors and bespoke exhaust manifolds.

As a result of these upgrades, output of the engine has been bumped from 585 HP (430 kW) and 800 Nm (590 lb-ft) in the stock S-Model to an impressive 850 HP (625 kW) and 1,450 Nm (1,069 lb-ft). The latter will be electronically-limited to 1,150 Nm (848 lb-ft) to maintain the longevity of the engine.

The upgrade kit is compatible with both RWD and 4MATIC versions of the E63 AMG Wagon and enables the car to reach 62 mph (100 km/h) in 3.1 seconds onto a limited top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h) with regular tires but if you opt for high-performance rubbers the sedan will hit 217 mph (350 km/h).

Aside from the considerable power gains, Brabus has come up with some carbon fiber body parts such as a front spoiler lip and a diffuser insert. Also part of the package are a sports exhaust with quad pipes, various alloy wheels in sizes of up to 20 inches, along with several customization options for the cabin where the customer can select from different leathers, Alcantara, aluminum shift paddles and other goodies.

2014 Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG Wagon Brabus 850 6.0 Biturbo debuts at Essen Motor Show

This is just insane. Would be a nice race between this and the MTM RS6.

P.S. I would love to have a drag race between the RS6 Avant and the E63 AMG-S Wagon, to finally tell which is the fastest wagon in the world. Still no REAL test between these two?

Thanks man. Yeah I know the RS6 won that one. But I meant a video test ☺ Sorry I didn't add that.

And here I was thinking "Oh, not in white and gold?"...

...but there had to be some gold, just had to...
