Maybach should have been a stand alone MB. The W222 S-Class is a fantastic car, but making it larger and including some fancy extras on the rear is not enough to compete with RR and Bentley.
Lol .......I see what you did there
However, there was these sketches and model of a future Maybach
So I'm guessing the exterior previews the new shape of the CLS .... pretty much a carbon copy of the A7.
Interesting interpretation of a prolapsed rectum they've got going on there...
do you post there?I saw the same comment on Jalopnikdo you post there?
Both Mercedes and Audi have taken active aerodynamics to the next level, they have gone beyond active spoilers to actually changing the shape of the car.
You can see that the extensions at the back helps prevent air flow separation from the body of the car and minimise the area of turbulent air /wake behind the car, thus reducing drag and improving aero efficiency.

Basically aiming for a teardrop shape. Taking the Kammback to the next level
Mercedes-Benz seem to have a real Saab fetish lately this and the C-Coupe can be considered Saab-like.
