Amazed Mercedes UK won't be bringing the 53 to the UK, pollute the rest of the line up, anyone with a 2 litre C class can fit a panamericana grille, there is nada between the cls 53 and this... That's like a price gap of 70k/2 cls 53s..

Yep this and the Panamera are likely gone after this. A shame but likely true. Even the Macan won’t come back as an ICE and it’s their best seller. It’ll be replaced by an EV version sold alongside the ICE version for as long as they can.

Indeed. Even couple of years ago, if someone suggested, the pride of the German auto industry - big fast sedans with big engines - would face obsoleteness so soon, they would have been laughed of.

Moers and the new AMG Chairman of the Board would beg to differ.

Too expensive by at least 20%.

They also seem to command much higher prices on the 2nd hand market in the Alemania, when compared to a E-Class or CLS AMG..
