Vs Mercedes-AMG E63 vs Tesla P100D (and M5 & RS6)

All indications thus far are that the new M5 will not have RWD. At all.

There's only rumors and nothing more. AFAIK xDrive will be optional. Or RWD will be optional, depending on the way you look at it.
IMO, the M550i being xDrive only is not an indication.

And see this E63 which really looks funny comparing to other AMG's

This car and m5 are the best 2 sedan car in all history's
But i dont like they way they are doing the AMG's its a shame for them.

The new 5 series looks like the old F10 its not a big difference on exterior and interior, it is dated before it even came out so I can tell you the M5 is not going to be a game changer in this segment.

Tesla is fast off the line. In the real world, with rolling start, the tesla simply can't keep up with real cars.

You sure about that? Trapping 123 mph in the 1/4 mile means even from a rolling start the P100D will keep up with Germany's best. It would be the faster car even after the 1/4 mile probably until the 1/2 mile. And who really races any more than a 1/2 mile, if that.

By the way Tesla model S starts at $60K, S-class at $100K.

Tesla is just a toy for rich people with "green" brains who want some new experience.

Sure. Here's the rundown...E63S is awesome but not unexpected...same old party trick nowadays. Who would have thought that if the old one has 580 hp that the new would have 600?! EVERYONE. Its a nice car no doubt but I hope the higher ups in MB are taking note of new threats to their company from Silicon Valley. If they think their $hit don't stink and that they're infallible then they will go the way of the dinosaurs.

Yes but I would use my hard earned $$$$ to buy E63 over Tesla when i have the capacity to buy either so with that bearing in mind they still are building a car that is going to be bought. Plus fossil fuels are hear for a lot longer than people think there is at least another 500 years supply left.

Silicon Valley?!?! They don't even know how to build cars in Detroit, and they've been doing that for a 100 years.

I wish you were right but you're so wrong its not even funny. Everyone can live in all of the denial they want but when new tech comes out old tech goes bye bye. Everyone at one point asked what does APPLE know about PHONES? Now we know it's called growth and learning and anyone can do it.

You look at the EV's of the traditional car makers and they are garbage. Car makers today still can't get infotainment systems as good as Tesla has gotten them in their first mass produced car.

Well if their EV attempts are as pathetic as the auto industry's attempts at EVs in the last 10 years (i3, Leaf, etc) then yes I will say they are sleeping.

4 years ago AMG showed what they can do with the SLS Electric Drive and it still holds the record for the fastest electric production car around the Nurburgring. The dynamics and their in house developed intelligent vehicle dynamics controller for that car is still the industry benchmark for any electric performance car. What has Tesla done so far?

I don't know if you own or driven a Tesla before but I have recently driven a P85+. The traction controller on that car is all over the place, it never feels stable or keeps you on the line, its poorly tuned. And when you floor midway through a corner, the car understeers massively worse than many performance FWD's. If you think these are the set benchmarks, oh dear you are so wrong!

p.s. the build quality of Tesla is nothing great either. If you move your hand around the roof metal trim with the sun roof open, the trim is so poorly finshed that you would be lucky not to cut your hand/fingers
