Mazda has long been a brand that has placed emphasis on design. And solely in terms of design, my favorite Japanese brand. No longer so common here in Germany though. I recall when the 626 sedan sold like fresh breakfast rolls back in the mid-1980s. And afterwards the first-gen MX5/Miata.

Fully agree, Mazda cars all look fantastic and they my favorite Japanese car brand for design. Their interiors are also the best built of all the Japanese brands. I have seen quite a few of the new CX-60 and CX-90 models and they are super stylish SUVs,

In 1990, the Mazda Eunos Cosmo rotary was an impressive piece of designcraft as well:

IMHO, it features a clean, modernized M-B C107 SLC vibe. Very cool in it's day.
