A preview of the forthcoming GS...

Snap judgment: looks like it has alot of Audi elements (with what looks to be big grille and the rear lights look similar especially with that slight duck-tail spoiler) that's been tempered with the LFA's sharp, aggressive creases. It looks a bit over the top, especially coming from ToMoCo, but as it's a concept, I expect it to be toned down com production time.

Edit: it also seems to give some creedence to what Cashmere (BMW Power) and Soup have posted in another thread

It won't be the agressive, bet on it.

Interesting design direction from Lexus. This could help get rid of the bland image wich lexus is infamous for.

This.

Lexus are masters at drumming up the presentation of new concept cars. Like-wise they have a strong track record for delivering production cars that don't follow up on the promise of their conceptual designs. Hell they couldn't even bring the LF-A to market without dumbing down the gorgeous design of the 3 concepts they presented. They always end up producing cars that can be dubbed as Toyota's on steroids.

The Lexus IS250 is the only design I can whole heartedly say is pleasing to the eyes.

Well in this case I really hope that this concept will break every single promise it would ever make!

Im tired with lexus..seriously..i visited their showroom for some reason ( dad wanted to check out their hybrid SUV)..
Im not even being a fan boy here..but their cars are just so damn old looking and badly designed..inside out..the materials they use..everything..its sad that some people hold them in the same light as the germans..

Completley empty showroom.. i felt bad for the sales reps..2 guys sharing some sweets and with their kawah..;)..haha

That's the thing, unless Lexus seriously embraces diesel-tech in their passenger cars, in Europe it'll always be a has been. Their build qualtiy is still pretty meticulous, but I agree that some of the interior materials have fallen behind as the German marques have rally forged forward with not only great quality materials but also various choices of materials.

But I guess the topic of Lexus vs. German makers is a whole another discussion.
