LS Lexus LS 460/LS 460h

Whatever it is, to me it isn't well proportioned, especially the passenger door. And those tail lights are quite boring. It's good but it can't surpass German design.

I can't say the same for the GS. Now, that is a gorgeous car.

It was much debated here and elsewhere Lexus prefered to copy design cues from other brands (BMW, MB, VW, ...).

And when I finally gave Lexus some credits for original design element, I found IT WAS ALSO COPIED!!!! :t-banghea :t-crazy2:

I'm talking about "Lexus"-kink in rear-door window. It was originally featured on Dodge Neon in 1996.

Are Lexus designers really incapable of inventing some design elements on their own???!!! :t-banghea :t-banghea :t-banghea :t-banghea

Even more: they are incapable to invent 2 different designs for their own vehicles. L(F)S is (will be) no more than enlarged IS. Sad, very sad! :t-crazy2:

This thing looks good. But like someone else mentioned I whould have to say that the car looks to sleek to be a flagship sedan. I cant see old people driving this and only young and most of them don't have t cash. Anyway's it looks good, finally Lexus looks quite original and can't wait to hear about options and interior.

I had mentioned that as well.... i need to see a bigger bolder and classier car, this is way to Mazda 6 like.
