Lexus Customer Service: Defining best practice...

When we test-drove the IS, the dealer offered exceptional service, patiently answering our questions and never trying to push to sell the car. They even sent us a hamper even though we didn't buy any of their cars. I say, the service staff go through very stringent training and follow a code of conduct that is impeccable.
 
Impressive: I take it whilst the IS may not have been what you were after, in the future you certainly will be giving them very serious consideration.
