One:1 Leaked: Additional Koenigsegg One:1 Renders

The Koenigsegg One:1 was presented at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show held in March. Koenigsegg built six cars apart from the car presented at the Geneva Motor Show, all of which were already sold. Koenigsegg took two cars to the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, where they were displayed alongside other sports cars such as the McLaren P1, LaFerrari, the Porsche 918 Spyder and the Pagani Huayra.

Further renderings have just emerged of the upcoming Koenigsegg One:1. The is being developed as Koenigsegg’s halo car with several examples due to head out to China. It seems only right that the leaked images come from there! Development of the Koenigsegg One:1 is still ongoing but GTspirit has managed to gather some exclusive details about the upcoming range-topping hypercar from the Swedish manufacturer.

First and foremost, the car features a radically changed design compared to other Koenigsegg special editions we have seen before. The design features carbon fiber wheels, a new front fascia with a more aggressive lower front splitter and a fixed roof with an air scoop made of carbon fiber. At the rear, you will see a massive rear wing along with a completely redesigned rear end, a new diffuser and a central exhaust outlet. The roof and the wing are linked by a carbon fiber tail fin similar to the Pagani Zonda 760 RS.

he name Koenigsegg One:1 directly refers to the fact that the Koenigsegg One:1 will produce 1hp per kilogram, meaning that an uprated variant of the twin-turbocharged 5.0-liter V8 engine found in the regular Koenigsegg Agera R is likely to debut with around 1,400hp. However, the Koenigsegg One:1 won’t just receive more horsepower and a redesigned body, it should also produce around 800kg downforce and be capable reaching speeds between 430km/h and 440km/h.
Stay tuned to GTspirit for more information about the upcoming Koenigsegg One:1 when it become available!

It looks like the CC8S from 2003... where's the evolution? :meh:

Have anyone of you read the latest forum/ksegg/owner public battle over a f#cked up Agera ?

Tragic looking vehicle

I see your point, but I am willing to reserve judgment until we get to see the car in real life...Well, let's wait and see....

That aside, Koenigsegg have been awfully quiet throughout this summer..Hope we get to hear some news from their side soon
(Though rumor has it that DRIVE channel were recently at the factory once again, and they are expected to hear yet another series about Koenigsegg from their next season onwards)

Ha ha ha - what a classic story. And then BC writes off a 12C Spider. Baller.

Yeah, that surely got quite a bit of attention, especially after his "Hunk of Sh*t" rant about the Agera R.

As for One:1,really hoping to see new tech introduced on it(i.e. active aero for a start). As much as I am a huge fan of Koenigsegg,I must admit the Agera range has suddenly felt quite outdated, with the introduction of some cutting-edge hypercars from Porsche,Ferrari&McLaren(918 Spyder,LaFerrari and the P1 respectively)

Granted, the Agera surely has the straight line advantage, but the other 3 are light years ahead of the 'Egg when it comes to track performance

0-400 km/h in 20 seconds

Christian von Koenigsegg shared some spicy info about the company's upcoming gem, the One:1.
First and foremost, the "One:1" designation refers to the weight-horsepower ratio which will be a true 1:1 since other cars achieved this by measuring dry weight while the One:1 will have it including water, oil, fuel and other fluids. This is what Christian said who added the car will produce 1,400 bhp (1,044 kW).
Koenigsegg's computers have shown the car will be the quickest in the 0-124 mph (0-200 km/h), 0-186 mph (0-300 km/h) and the 0-248 mph (0-400 km/h) sprints. In fact, the Swedish company mentions hitting the 248 mph mark from a standstill will take an amazing 20 seconds, which would make it 25 seconds quicker than the mighty Veyron. Top speed will be of at least 280 mph (450 km/h) which is considerably more than the 258 mph (415 km/h) of the Bugatti Veyron Super Sport World Record Edition. We should mention the unrestricted Veyron WRE can do 431 km/h (268 mph) but the production version was sold with an electronic top speed limiter which could happen on the One:1 as well.
The company's owner announced a prototype will be ready before the end of 2013 with production limited to six cars. Although it's price is going to be "substantially higher" compared to the Agera S, demand for the One:1 is strong but even so Koenigsegg believes they will lose money on this car. On the other hand, the One:1 will increase the brand's awareness and should create future profits on upcoming models, while the research and development put into the car will find its way on "lesser" models.
Christian von Koenigsegg concluded the interview by saying "no one needs a car like this" but "they just need to want one."
Note: Attached renders are not official.

Rumored to be launched in Geneva 2014...Hmmmm,kinda want to go to Geneva to see it for myself...

Just FYI, this is what it takes to do 0-400 in 20 seconds :

I'm sure the One:1 will be fast but not that quick. I can't wait to see this car though. K'eggs are really growing on me. About time lol.

Getting 1400hp off the line cleanly without drag tyres and a super sticky track is impossible so I seriously doubt the 0-400 claim but for sure it will be the quickest production machine once it's traction issues are behind it.

There's a clear divide in the supercar camps, on the one end you have Porsche/Ferrari/McLaren throwing technology to achieve the ultimate supercar that are still semi-environment friendly and in the other you have the smaller privately funded brands like Koenigsegg/Pagani throwing power to achieve a similar goal and in the process sticking two big fingers up at the environment.

4)Catch fire and have the engine explode every other run :D
