No doubt if you are ever luck enough to see one drive by I bet anything that it will make you do a doubt take more than any other hypercar.

The question that needs to be asked is whether that is necessarily a good thing and is it for all the right reasons?

Do these Geneva show presentations indicate that we can abandon all hopes for a bonafide 2+2 GT coupe/convertible Lamborghini ? A pity should this be the case. The Veneno is simply an outrageous ego-schmoozing exercise for the VW-Groups' top brass. And the HotWheels like SUV concept is anything but appealing to my eyes. Admittedly, the UAE high-rollers may very well fill Lambos' order books for this ostentatious dune buggy.

I am beginning to resign myself to the notion that we will have to wait for a next-gen Panamera-based 928 successor (if it will ever come at all) or the next-gen Bentley Continental GTs' before we see an exciting new 2+2 GT offering from the VW-Group.

Jimmy, there never WAS any front engined GT in the works at Lambo, ever!

That Miura concept made people assume there was, but it was nothing more than a concept never meant for production.

But, they are supposed to be working on a 2+2 Aventador, however that could work..

WOW. Wait about 6 months and everyone will be loving this car. The more radically different something is the more people will dislike it at first. I remember when the LP640 first came out in 2006 people were like "no this just doesn't look right, the older Murcielago looked better". After about a month everyone loved the car as they got used to the new shape. Because of how radically different the Veneno is, people will take longer to get used to it.

Has Lamborghini released any technical specs or tech video explaining the aero dynamic functions of the new bodywork?

the more I look at it, the less enamored I am with it. The details are overwrought and gaudy. However, I do like the general concept of what looks like a LeMans racer for the street.

The back end is hideous, I can't think of a single car's rear that looks this stupid. Its as if their head designer was none other than General Schwarzkopf and he demanded some shock and awe. lol

Hmm - after looking at it the last three days .... it is not getting better :(
Wtf came the designer up with? How could Piech greenlight such a design-monster? I don't get it ...

The Veneno, this Monster, is a personification of Piech himself.
