CCX Koenigsegg CCX - more powerful?

The Koenigsegg CCX is a mid-engine sports car manufactured by Swedish automotive manufacturer Koenigsegg Automotive AB. The project began with the aim of making a global car, designed and engineered to comply with global safety and environment regulations, particularly to enter the United States car market.

Did you know that Christian started designing the first CC on his pc with Windows 95? Must have been hard and slow as hell.

No I didnt. Cool, I guess you have to start somewhere :D

Koenigsegg CCX - new fastest car?

Appointment to Geneva, where Koenigsegg will introduce the CCX, the third model of the Swedish house, after CC8S (660 cv and 750 Nm) and CCR (810 ch and 920 Nm).

I wriggle of pride, in order to resume the right to define "Koenigsseg, the car of faster series of the world", after that the previous record (in video: 388 km/h to Nardò) it has been stracciato from the Bugatti Veyron (407 km/h)

We hope ourselves, and we will be to Geneva also for this [ Via the Blog Car].

Christian once talked about a Gallardo/F430 competitior. This could be it?

Maybe... The R letter sounds more brutal, imo, and this X may be some lower model. Good point, JM. :usa7uh:

:t-cheers:

no man.. i hope not.. he cant make a car of the same base as the other super fast ones.. and tone it down and call it a F430 competitor.. that would be wierd, boring and a failure..

You talked to him; how many cars CCRs he sold so far in US? Is there really a need for a lower-end model?

:t-cheers:

well it maybe a good idea.. but no fun for the car enthusiast that want to see new creations..:D

Found some more info on it.
It will have the same 806bhp engine as in the CCR but it will weigh 2200ibs, 395ibs less than the CCR. No more info on the looks though.
It's also targeted to do the quarter in under 9 seconds. A bit optimistic imo.
