Hmm, Giannis, I respect your opinion, I guess it is 'fresher'.. but I still prefer the SL! 
As for the 6er, well, um, it looks good from the top..
Robert - those pictures of the SL interiors you found are great! For some reason I've never thought it was a particularly outstanding interior, but the lemon/stone combination and the brown combination (well, the seats more than the interior trim panels) are quite elegant and unusual. I've come to the conclusion that I quite like brown leather in cars
