I don't think Korean cars are bad anymore...decades ago yes. Huge progress, but is still going to improve... But it's been good...especially Hyundai.
French cars arent that bad nowadays. Citroen is building its new, strong image and Renault started to put a huge pressure on the sheer quality and reliability. Only Peugeot remains mediocre and bland.
508, being the successor of both 407 and 607 is impressive indeed, but look at their whole lineup. Those cars arent anything special right now. No wonder the PSA had to pull the plug out of their Le Mans campaign, since the sales of their products (Peuegot in particular) werent good. They just doesnt have any strong arguments to convince buyers to purchase their products.Having sit and being ride once on a Peugeot 508 I wouldn't call it mediocre at all. The interior quality is really close to the premium compact germans and miles better than VW, Ford or any other mainstream car.
Regards!
Gosh those headlamps...

Lately, when I was watching one of the Michaels Moore fims, by title Capitalism: A love story (dont hate me, I dont share his wicked opinions, nor I am a fan of him, tried it just for laugh) there was a interview with the guy, who buys the houses taken by banks from people who didnt pay their debts. He said something like "I am not a fan of cars, I drive a Hyundai Sonata. All I want from a car is it to be comfortable way of transport. When I will sell this car, I am going to probably buy another one of these." And thats I think the typical person who buys such cars. People who doesnt car about cars, doesnt want it to be with any pedigree, nor prestige or even looks. They dont care whether the exterior of this car looks like a copy and paste job of a beginning designer. They just want the practical, comfortable car for a low price.
In the Europe, the KIAs flagship used to be this strange abomination:
Sold under the name of Kia Opirus. I have no idea whether it was also sold in the USA or not. But it was in the production till 2010 or something like that. And now its replaced by this.
...but with BMW looks. The Korean 7 series! Not bad...Luxury with out the BMW price!
Man...are you on drugs today?Very nice shot. I could dare to say it looks better than Audi A6, BMW 5 Series, Jaguar XF, Lexus GS and Mercedes E Class.
