SCOTT, you talk about the VED Concept becoming smaller, you mean another car alongside the VED, or is the VED planned to be smaller than last year´s concept?.

I think the VED is roughly 3er size....so I don't really think they will make it any smaller. That would mean smaller than Z4.

I just want the VED to be produced, not matter if they use the tech in another model, in a MINI or whatever, but the VED has potential, and should be produced as it was showed to us (in a more production version, of course), but not changing much.

I am seriously lost, the Ved is derived from the concept car, so a little sporty hybrid coupe ? Apart from that they will also do the mega Z8 ? And the Megacity Vehicule will have brothers too ? Mini will also have full electric cars ?

It´s true there´s been a lot of rumours, confirmatios, threads previewing cars still to be confirmed... Maybe in the next month update SCOTT can summarizes it for us.

I don't get it. we talk already about the next 3 series? I thought it will be on european market not before 2012????? So why so early?

I agree. X3, M1, M5, new 1er and new 6er is much more interesting at the moment.

X3 is about to be unveiled, and yet the X3 forum has been quite for days already....

BTW, I'm super excited by the M1. I got to not just drive, but push the 135i with DCT yesterday. My god is that car quick and awesome! I can't begin to imagine the awesomeness that is the M1.

The M1 will be incredible for sure, but the fact that is going to last just 2 or 3 years makes it less relevant to me. I just want to see how the new 1er 3dr hatch is iwth the I4 TT that should power the next gen M1.

True about not lasting a long time part, but that's what it was meant for anyways. Just a memento for the ending of the first 1er design. Going out with a bang, as it's coined.

But, the new 1er is quite a ways away still. So, we'll be waiting for a long time for the next gen M1.

Apologies for the delay in the July Update as I have arrived in Spain- The volcanic island of Lanzarotte without my laptop with all the relevant details to be posted. This should be rectified soon as a family member will be here this weekend with it. In spain earlier than usual because we need to wait for some Robots to get their war overwith in downtown Los Angeles before we can shoot there.

Although this is the first shoot I have gotten to use the new iPad to view some shots. Of course tonight is of course a crucial night for Germany in the world cup so will be watching in a Spanish Bar.

Aswell as talked about previously the July update will now have to be an expansive edition aswell as taking in the previous headlines I have new and exciting news on the MINI Canyon Project - A 3dr Countryman that has been revitalized , more on the MegaCity Vehicle Project-i
and BMW X-Style Concept, and some information on the changes on the 2012 7er Life Cycle Impulse.

I´ve always thought the LCI F01 7er would have changes as the current one has a very conservative desing because of the CS, wich was under development by that time.

I was expecting not to hear anything about BMW SUVs in a while, but I think this is becomming a true nightmare.
