Words can't express how happy I am. As you folks know, I landed a job three months ago at a local BMW dealership(BMW Rockville). I started as a 'lot attendant'. I'm a part time employee and this job helps me scratch the itch of wanting to drive. After just three months of hard work(By hard work I mean coming in an hour early and leaving as the last one out with the manager that's locking up) I've been promoted to the 'used car lot manager'. Hard work does pay off! I have a whole new energy. I'm giddy as can be. Work hard guys, because you will see the rewards!

Happy for you, mate :)
Keep it positive and never forget to be active!

Well done!

Reminds me back when I joined an organization in an 18 month Management Trainee position before posting. After 5.5 months, the General Manager posted me to head the marketing function. Effectively ending my MT pogram a third of the way in.

But really it was nothing but hardwork & dedication that got me placed early. Keep at it and dont forget humility. You'll be managing a dealership in no time.

First off, congratulations!

I've trained a few managers in my field and I usually follow the principle that working for free is good for the obvious reasons (cheap, shows morale etc...), but is a sign of bad leadership when practiced by a manager. A good leader does his duty on designated time. And in the end nobody works for free in a perfect orginazation. As perfection shall always be the goal. Give it a thought ;)

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I'm very excited and can't wait to keep moving up!

Congrats man! That's awesome. Hard work always pays off one way or another.
Haha I was there about three weeks back to test drive a 335d as I was looking into buying one. Might've ran past you lol

Thanks again for the kind words everyone! I'm still in shock that they decided to give me the promotion. Life is good. :) Just gatta keep up the hard work!
