Not sure if this is the best post for this, but really cool video, apologies if posted already. Shame the silver suv coupe didn't make it to production.

There is even a photo of a render of that time almost the same as that 7 series, I suppose they are part of the 3 options that they handle before choosing and filter the ones they discard to create confusion.
it is great to see these secret concepts, the coupe seems to be an approach to production of the XCoupe, which at some point opted for the 4 doors of the X6

I just realized that the general layout of the front of the coupe is basically the front of the E65

CS1 Concept too. There were early plans to use the CS1 ideas to distinguish the Coupe and Cabrio models. Back in the day when E92 and E82 were being toyed with as the first BMW 4er and 2er.

Bangle and his team, changing the history of the brand with solutions that looked 30 years into the future, helping to change the era to the traditional design of a brand, but almost immediately incorporating some so innovative that they generated a certain rejection until they were adopted and applauded globally.

It is nice to see these "secrets" and to know all the previous mental work that is done to reach the public.
That is why I am amused when some people consider that what is put up for sale were decisions taken lightly.

Of course, sometimes even with everything that is done previously, they can still err a little, but the margin of error will not be so great.

I hope some ideas from that car turn up on the next generation 7. The chrome trim shown here at the C-pillar but spread across the entire length of the car. The Lounge style rear seats and headrest seem to wide just like this concept portrayed.?

Interesting concept and shows how the E65 evolved. The seats look comfy. I suspect, like the Garsching concept previewed the 4er's front, that this strategic showing of this concept is to prepare us for the upcoming G70 7er. Or maybe I am just a wee bit paranoid.

It's a bit amusing, I remember that there was a render in a magazine very similar to this, and I thought they would not have something so ponderous after they just put out what is the E38, but, man, whoever did the render, had some really good info regarding which direction the 7er was heading towards.

I remember that render, they were the precious magazines that, unlike the internet today, were not updated every 10 minutes and were reread all month long.
I always thought that, (as I already believe it is today), they were and are leaks given by the brands themselves with parts of the ideas that will definitely not see the light of day.
I hope some ideas from that car turn up on the next generation 7.
Has some very tasteful details

It's a concept of 1995. I saw some style transposed in Phantom VII. But I understand the words of Joji for this new direction of style for the "Bangle Era": it looks a mix of E65 and Rolls Royce. I hope we will see the rear end of the car.
