Vs Infiniti G37 vs. BMW 328i, Audi A4 2.0T, Acura TL SH-AWD

Of Course! I like German cars, but this doesn't blind me to other autmobile companies that actually provide outstanding cars.
Not to worry about this happening with me. I am a CarGuy and try to never take sides although I have noticed I have been a BMW and Porsche whore as of late. But I love all cars, I admire and argue for the Corvette, Viper, Mustang, Camaro, GT-R here and sometimes some people think I am nuts. Really when it comes to performance nothing can beat american but interiors belong to the germans. I guess the Japanese try to combine both of best worlds at a reasonable price. If you invest properly into an american car (much less than you think) around 20-30k you can have a car that handles, brakes, corners, steers and accelerates like no other. :usa7uh:

Nice read & tough ground! They should have added Caddy's new Cts here too... for some American show!

Ugh..The CTS...such a worthless box. It is still an insult that C&D doesn't put the C-class in their comparisons. Glad I didn't renew my subscription!

The 5-series is a big car. A bit uninspiring. The 3-series feels more nimble and responsive. I guess that is the big issue.

I felt that the 5 series was more responsive. The 5 even handled better to me. After MB messed up the E-class I might even consider buying a 5 series (if it wasn't about to be replaced). Well I guess it is personal preference.

I still prefer "S-class" size vehicles over small and mid-size vehicles.

Remember, I drive a MINI on an everyday basis, I need light and smallish cars :D I agree that if you are not driving overly enthusiastic, like on a long journey or just a little more relaxed, the 5-series is better.

I would also consider the next 5-series. I could be great. I do not, however, agree that Mercedes missed the target with the new E-class. I like it a lot more than the W211. I don't know if you have seen it yet, I have and seeing it in the metal somewhat changed my mind and in a sense confirmed my thaughts about it. It changed my mind in that it blew away all doutbs and confirmed my feeling that this could be the best E-class since the W124.

They've done it before with both Merc & Caddy in! And keeping up the tradition, the king-of-the-ring won! :t-cheers:

I just wanted to see how (so-called) best American compact stands against new Japanese pocket-rocket, G37-S! :t-crazy2:

Wow.....gee thanks a lot for underlining the fact that I haven't see the car yet...lol!

Seriously though, the best since the W124..that would really be something.

CarGuy....those are heavily modified cars....not really fair unless you're going compare them to modified/tuned Eurocars.

Anyway I wouldn't buy a 328i over a top-spec G37...the G37 engine would have to sound and behave like an old diesel for me to do that. Now I'd take a 335i over a G37, but as usualy C&D always does this stupid price bullshyte that keeps them in bottom run German cars when comparing them.

I really don't know about this thing. I saw it in person and I can't really make up my mind. It's a love and hate relationship, it's complicated. :D

The TL has to be IMO one of the ugliest new cars on the road. The design looks like it was done in the deepest, darkets basement of a mental hospital.

M

I think the TL has amazing road presence and it really doesn't look bad at all. The grill takes a little while to get use to, but it's original.

What I like is there is nothing like it and they didn't copy anyone like our good friends at Lexus. The rear of the vehicle is breathtaking.

The interior is futuristic!
