If you could only drive ONE car for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Hmm, rest of my life, everyday, everywhere and by different conditions. Definitely this one.

I'd also like to put in a vote for the 911.... but practicality wise you'd probably want to shoot yourself in the head if you had to drive it every day, in every circumstance, for the rest of your life, lol. Looks wise though, it'd probably stand as the most timeless.

^Of course the Pagani option is very tempting, but i think it would be destroyed if i was to ONLY drive that for the rest of my life.

Or perhaps i could go public transport plus Pagani..hmm

Yes: legs, bike, public transport and give me that Pagani. If there is a money limit as K-A suggest, then a big Merc: CL/S class

For me either the Mercedes 600 S class the one in black...and for the weekends the Gullwing.

Oh, ok... that kind of ONE car! :greedy:

McLaren 12C Spider comes to mind. Lotta daily drivability and outright dynamic prowess combined with mood-suiting top up, top down versatility.

I don't think you guys with all these hard riding, loud sports cars are really giving the question a lot of thought. You really wanna drive a track car everyday for the rest of your life lol?? Cayenne would be perfect, but a 911 Turbo/GT2/RS? Those are bruisers.

M

Since the vehicle has to do everything or most of the things I do with vehicles, it is going to either be a truck or an SUV- it is a tough one.

ONE car for the rest of my life!?

That will be the ONE car that is also the world's most complete car;)

(GL+X5+Rolls Phantom+Merc S-class+BMW 7er = All-in-one)

I get tired of driving boring sedans and sell them under 1 - 2 years :p

I'd buy an F40 / Carrera GT and drive it everday if every driver knew a thing or two about driving discipline, the use of turn signals and the blocking / slow driving on the left lane which drives me crazy

Edit: The noisy part and stiff suspension in a car means a lot to me  911 turbo is a very quiet car next to a Ferrari and Lambo

For the rest of your life Naas, not just for 3-4 years before it dismantles itself :D

LOL. I am 37 and for now anything from a M3 to a new Cayman will do but as time flies (Feb 2013 Tomw already) I could use the comfort and practicality for the rest of my life from the RR.

An Alpina based on the best BMW ever, the E39, is the definition of automotive perfection IMO.
