I bought a little brother for my Audi :)

Hi there friends.

Most of you already know my Audi A4, that has been frequently discusted here on this forum.

You also know that I had a Corolla -94 that I used as a 2nd car.
Well, now I have upgraded my 2nd car

Yesterday I bought myself a 2001 Audi A3 1,8T with 148 000 km on the stand, aircondition, Bose sound system, sportseats, sport steering wheel and lots of other goodies! I really love it! Its a quick little car. And it is in great condition too! It has got new 17" wheels and well, pretty much everything you ask for.

Yes of course. I got a really really REALLY good price. Ive been looking every day for 2 months to find a perfect A3 for a good price, and this one was it. I was actually looking for a 1,8TS or 1,8TS Quattro, but this one was to good to resist! I dont think they buyer actually knew how little he sold it for, cause I called him like 3 minutes after he put the car for sale on the net...

Yes, its a very quick little car. Surprisingly quick. Feels much faster then my A4, when it was stock. You just feel the speed more, since its such a little car. For example it does 110 km/h in 2nd gear, while my A4 did 100 km/h stock.

Are you going to get it remapped? The 1.8T is a fantastic base for tuning (I've had three cars with this engine).

Yeah, I know that. Nah, I dont want it, since I have already tuned my A4. And since the A3 works as a 2nd car, I am very satisfied with the stock performance of the 1.8T!

I just ordered lowering springs, so the car will drop 40/40.
Plus, I will get these rear lights:


And I want to get the S3 99-01 front lights. You know, the ones where the head light was on the outside, and not on the inside in the models 01-03. And I dont want no angel eyes since its bmwish and neither do I want the A5 look-a-like that everybody have now. These ones are the ones I want:

So:
* lowering
* rear led lights
* front S3 lights

And I think the caar will be perfect!

Yupp, that is correct! But they are very expencive and rare...

I know, but they look fantastic!! Adds so much to the exterior design of the car - makes it much more modern - a century step apart, in my opinion. Maybe you will have the chance to find a crashed S3, where the headlights still work well.

You have to be kidding. A similar A3 in borderline acceptable condition goes for ~9.000€ here with a ~1000 - 2000€ premium for the great condition...
