Hyundai BS dept... er i mean marketing dept... is at it again.
They find some obscure factoid that makes their cars try to "sound" as good or better then MB/BMW/etc...
Remember the Genesis ads stating that it was faster then a 5-series (of course they were comparing the V8 Genesis model to the lowly 528i).
The CLS is the oldest MB model and might still use previous generation paint process, so they ran with it.
