At first glance I thought so and listening to a YouTuber he thinks similar....a lot of Alfa Romeo in it, I think they were ahead of what the GTV should have been
 
My ND Miata is probably the Most fun car I have ever owned. I’m hoping some of the light weight magic makes it here.
 
this car is a stunner, so pure and sensual. Love the small pop up headlights. Hommage to the RX7 and first MX5.
