Holiday surprise! Images of a pre-production BMW 730d model with smaller wheels and laser headlights have surfaced on a Swiss Facebook BMW Fan Club. The official unveiling of the new 7 Series (G11) still stands for next fall, scheduled for the IAA in Frankfurt.
We know from our in-depth discussions of the new BMW 7 Series that the next generation will be up to 170 kg lighter, aiming its weight to be below the current F10 5 Series. Also, high-strength steels as well as carbon fiber reinforced plastics, magnesium, and aluminum are used to build the new high-end model which will translate into a more dynamic and agile beast, while at the same time create an extremely comfortable and luxurious driving experience.
