No softtop version? The car has lost its masculinity now because of the roof line. I think its as much as a womans car as the TT roadster.

Personally in terms of demographics, I believe that all cabrios are more gauged towards female drivers. But I’m sure that’s regional, since I live in a cold country, I don’t see that many cabrios.... and when I do, it's more often than not women driving. I imagine that in say California, cabrios are more common than coupes., and the demographics are different.

This is the best looking BMW cab ever. A classic!

Its a M, it should look good.

Anyway, now this is a E93 thread and not E46 thread :usa7uh:

I love it! Funny how the press pictures are more or less the same colour as the CS1 concept - the rear lights also have a bit of CS1 about them - not a bad thing!

Finally I see why the E93 has such a flat roof. The E46 had it too, but I definitely never noticed it before.

Duh! I'm telling that all the time (look at my post above) - here and in the E93 vs C70 thread.

how can anybody say the new CC doesn't look tons sleaker than the previous canvas roof. It looks amazing, and is the best integration of a hard top up to date, IMO

Wow, after seeing all those different colours, I reaffirm that BMW picked the worse colour for the press kit!

Nice work Just_me! Karma given! :usa7uh:

Hmm, i thought it would look alot better in other colours. But actually i think the light bronze colour is pretty nice! But lets hope real life photos will come soon :) I truly hate press photos from now on.

Hello everyone, i've been following this forum since people switched from germancarfans. Been a great fan. This is my 1st post.

I think the E93 is a wonderfull looking car. I love the way its proportioned and the detailing is brilliant.

A concern of mine is that, being a coupe-cabrio, the impact it'll have on the coupe might be negative. I mean, somone who's in the market for the coupe will see the E93 and they'll think "why should i get the coupe when i could get both a coupe and convertible if i pay a bit more. It'll be like 2 cars in 1". See what i mean?

And does anyone here wished the E90 looked as good as the E92 and E93? Knowing that the E92 and E93 were derived directly from the E90, it made me think "I wish they incorporated design elements from the E92 to the E90". I had the same thoughts when the E46 range came out.

Well, you wouldn't be paying 'a bit more'... I think it's quite a substantial sum, enough to keep the CC's toes off the Coupe. ;)

After thinking through it, I think the E90 looks great just as it is... I do not wish for BMW to incorporate design elements from the E92/E93 into the E90, because the point of the former having new design elements is to distance itself from the E90 in the first place. I don't want my new E92 Coupe to look just like the E90 sedan... By most measures, they're already so closely matched, especially so since the E92 can seat 4 comfortably.

I totally agree with you! I really should buy a Sedan or Touring. But since the Coupé is so much better looking, i would never be happy with anything else. But then i saw the E93. It looks as good as the coupé. And its a cabrio!!! But also, i could take the top off. Put the back seat down, and put a big fabric over there. And then i could put alot more bagage there if needed sometimes then i could ever do in the Coupé. Id rather go down a bit on the engine size to get the E93.

BTW, 335i Coupé to 335i E93 seams to be just 4000 Euro, right? That isnt hell of a lot to get a cabrio!

In what country rightnow ?!

Cause there are barely 2 countries (in Europe and beyond) were the same car costs the same amount of money.

I was reffering to the german prices. But i did i typo, i meant 6000 Euro more. But after counting it better its actually 6430 Euro more. But still, i dont think thats very very much. Its a sports cabrio!

E92
335i = €44,320
E93
335i = €50,750

Am i right?
