Like to share this extreme nice Car :t-drive:

Powered by a bi-turbo 4.2-litre V8 petrol engine with 450bhp, refined by a new adaptive Dynamic Ride Control system and safely contained by quattro four-wheel-drive, the new Audi RS 6 quattro will combine rapidity with responsibility. The 0-62mph sprint can be covered in just 4.7 seconds (Avant 4.9 seconds), and 124mph can be achieved in an even more impressive 17.6 seconds (Avant 17.8 seconds). Top speed is electronically limited to 155mph.

M5 E39 was the first one then came E55 (the non-komperssor version) and then RS6. Thats the way I see it.

It was 4.2 V8 BiTurbo. And nothing else.

Biturbo and twin turbo are the same thing with the "bi" prefix meaning two, so you are both correct.

I think there technically is a difference but for the most part they're the same thing and the names are used interchangebly.

I think twin turbo refers to two identical turbos, one for each cylindar bank; Biturbo refers to two turbos of different size and speed as to counteract each others weaknesses(i.e. lag and lack of power). Or maybe thats the other way around. Ill try to find a link to back that up.

edit:
Another way I have heard it was that a Biturbo set-up spans each turbo over a specific RPM range, one for low and the other for higher RPM's, greatly reducing turbo lag.

Twin turbo activates both turbos simultaneously.

Audi

Audi AG is a German automotive manufacturer of luxury vehicles headquartered in Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. A subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, the company’s origins date back to the early 20th century and the initial enterprises (Horch and the Audiwerke) founded by engineer August Horch (1868–1951). Two other manufacturers (DKW and Wanderer) also contributed to the foundation of Auto Union in 1932. The modern Audi era began in the 1960s, when Volkswagen acquired Auto Union from Daimler-Benz, and merged it with NSU Motorenwerke in 1969.
