Non-German alternatives
Alfa 147 GTA used? Crap interior but great engine.
Renault Clio Sport? Little car, French, but goes awesome.

How much are used E60 535d in Sweden? That car is crazy fast and I see them around 20 k € in Germany.

Sat in both Mk VI GTI and Scirocco 2.0. For some reason I liked the Scirocco interior better but rear visibility was poor. Rocco has somehow better, premium looks while GTI is more traditional. I'd take leather if I was already taking one of these cars, don't like the 'normal' seats too much.
I say if practicality isn't what you're looking for, go with the Scirocco.

Stop stuffing around - you are a BMW man through and through. You're living the dream with a tidy 120i Sport. Now the dream just needs to get a little bigger.

At this very moment there are still plenty highly desirable Beemers around.

Do you get the 125i Coupe in Sweden? Have you considered that car? Maybe not new, but how about "nearly new" as in low mileage or demo model?

Fantastic looks, fine interior, RWD, incomparable straight six, motor plan... and of course, devine to drive.

I reckon you'd have a blast with this:

I know that the Mazda MPS models all have a mechanical LSD!

Also, do you consider the upcomming Alfa Romeo MiTo or Giullieta Quadrifoglio with the 1750TBi engine and 235hp?

Getting a Coupé has crossed my mind but I feel I want to try something new. Coupe version is pretty much the same car I have now but with a different exterior.

Alfa is out of the question, bad realibility and resale value.

:eusa_doh:O Shit! I recommended the Scirocco...completely forgot about the 1er Coupe!

Thanx Martin!

Perhaps wait for next generation 1-series? but 3-cylinders , noway
If you can I think you should wait until the new 1er comes (which is next year). You sound like you think next generation 1er will only have 3-cylinder engines and that of course won't be the case.

Of course I know. But I dont want next 120i to have 3-cylinders and 160hp. It need to have at least 4-cylinders and +200 hp within an acceptable price.

I don't think you have to worry about the next gen 1er not having enough many 4-cylinder engine choices. The new turbo-4s will be available when it debuts. :usa7uh:
