The new E-Class may shed some "light" on MB's numbers, though.

Audi shows an impressive crisis-resistance, kudos, they seem considerably less affected than the other carmakers! They indeed could be worldwide Nr 1 this year, and have already outsold Mercedes-Benz (once unattainable Nr1 in the luxury market...), who however have stated they were focussing on margin and not numbers.

If the world economic situation starts to turn around after summer (I doubt it though), Mercedes sales will catch fire with a new E Sedan and Coupe and the facelifted S sedan and coupe.
