this is due to the facelift model change in the e class

HUTSUTAo, Mercedes actually has much bigger problems in China and are undergoing a major restructure to overcome the problems. Last year the E sold approximately 100,000 less E-class's than BMW did the 5 series, just in the Chinese market. So it's not really due to the model changeover.
