Germany Sales: January 2007

Yes that's what I don't like about Marcus either.
If he doesn't know something it's either irelevent or a theory/lie or not worth bothering regardless of the conections/implications/consequences .

Most ignorant man I ever seen. Facts don't do much for you, don't they?

Btw, this is a thread about January sales in GERMANY. And I was explaining BMW situation in Germany.

But you can stick with excellent Jan MB US sales - in US sales thread, please. :t-cheers:

ohh lord you must be the most blessed human being in the world..
if he is the most ignorant person you have ever seen..
either that or you hide from ppl..:D

^i know what BMW fans are capable of..
for example.. truely beliving that they can match a ferrari with their 1996 318i:D

^lol that is not true..
190D´s are seldom driven by boys
and those who drive em want comfort and quality.. and they get it:D

1996 318 drivers want ferrari performance.. but doesent get it:D
but still refuses to see reality..:D

Ofcourse they can Artist... mods
An older bimmer is the best car to mod.
Just tell those Ferrari boys to be carefull, who know what they racing about when messing with crazy BMW boys.:D :t-drive:

^preach..im on BMW´s side really against ferrari
a ferrari from that era will most likely brake down in a race..
so the win goes to the BMW driver and his all mighty 318---:D

You're calling me ignorant when you brought up the U.S. sales thread. Pot, meet Kettle.

You stated earlier that 70 percent of BMWs are customer ordered and I said that wasn't the case in the U.S. regardless of the thread. You brought it up here.

Now wait a min, we're allowed to talk about what we DON'T like about certain members now? I'm not going to touch that one.

Anyway, your problem is that you always try to apply longest, most drawn out, speech to everything. I said I didn't care about the European sales, only the U.S. so to me yes what you posted about the BTO is irrelevant to me. You posted some data about the U.S. market and that is what I commented on, can't you not see that? I didn't say squat about what the European percentage of custom BMWs are, nothing at all.

You completely ignored what I said about the U.S. data you posted only to turn around and say what you don't like about me? Pluhease. God what a waste posting here.

Eni was talking I belive about diesel/european sales, not global or american sales.

Last figures I had from The Economist were ~55% global are sold via BTO, and ~30% in USA. This is the case for BMW. So most people do not buy BMW the old fashion way.

We totally mixed it up. :D

~70% of actual BMW worldwide buyers visit the official BMW sites before ordering / buying a car. Of course this percentage varies depends on market - in some markets percentage is lower, in some even higher.

~50-55% BMW global sales is BTO. in Germany even higher (~60%), while in US the procentage is lower (~30%)

A bit too touchy, OK.
But I'm also sometimes making a fool of myself, am stuborn, not properly informed, and get too biased and I end up hating myself for it.

Anyway, your problem is that you always try to apply longest, most drawn out, speech to everything.

True, but part of it is because english is not my native language, and part because this simple "if the Earth looks flat then it's flat" menthality might work
in an amish comunity, but it doesn't work for me.
Simplicity, lack of connections/implications/consequences is a fairy tail.

You completely ignored what I said about the U.S. data ...

Because I haven't got data on that.

Well you know your lesson now. :D
Avoid BMW sales discution and talking to overly complex thinking people/BMW fans. :D :D

^LMAO end up hating yourself
you funny man:D

PS
visiting BMW internationall site..or nationall sites..does not give ppl the info on upcoming engines and modells in advance im sorry
so that figure says nothing to me.. else than the fact that BMW buyers have internet.. lol:D

Describes perfectly most of your ramblings when you start waxing about BMW and things that happened years and years ago when we're talking about things in 2007 such as sales. I stand by what I said, as far as the U.S. market. Period. Never said anything about Europe.

Apparently it isn't. Again, see above.

Because I haven't got data on that.

The little tidbit you posted from Business Week mentioned the 30 percent of US orders were customer/BTO orders, which is inline what what I originally stated, that the majority of American orders ARE NOT customer orders. I don't see what is so hard to grasp about that.

Well you know your lesson now. :D

More like not bothering to waste time discussing sales with BMW fans who make excuses for BMW's sales losses while preaching the world is coming to an end whenever MB's sales drop.
