The new Alpine 2021 winter testing spec or colours. FB_IMG_1610632550654.webpFB_IMG_1610632547763.webpFB_IMG_1610632544892.webpFB_IMG_1610632541309.webp

This season is going to be fascinating.
Last season before new regulations.
Renault sorry Alpine reunion with Fernando, Vettel to AM Racing, and Sergio to Red Bull.
McLaren will be a team to watch as well.

If it is without Hamilton, that will be the best season in hybrid era :sneaky:But that won't happen. He + W12 car are too dominant.

Indeed, Lewis Hamilton in the W12 EQ would be highly favoured as 2021 WDC, clutching his #8. But I'm hoping that Max will at least make it a lot more difficult for Lewis than in the previous season. The intra-team Max & Checo rivalry should be fascinating, although I suspect that Max will, in the end, come out decisively on top. Danny and Lando in the M-B powered McLaren will surely deliver an abundance of excitement as well. Of course, Seb in the AM will almost certainly be back on the radar for some "big points" races. Fernando in the Alpine should be a lot of fun to watch and I'd like to see the "old dude" kick some ass ! I have no expectations for the Scuderia Ferrari whatsoever at this point in time.

Lewis must already have signed a contract extension. At this point Mercedes are just trolling us.

Does Aston Martin contribute anything to the team except their name and money ?

I don't know, but I supply one of their suppliers, and the chap I was talking to today reckons they've really kicked it up a notch internally, in terms of organisation and professionalism. Don't know if it will translate to on track results though, though he seems to think so.

Sabaldstian Vettel!

Clearly emulating one of his heroes...

Sorry for OT, do you have any news from the guy that works on Project One? :)

Nope, sorry. I only know him through my local pub, with lock down restrictions being what they are, drinking and talking sh!t in my local is a distant memory at the moment.

Hamilton was this bald 7-8 years ago. I am sure he will be happy to give Vettel a referral to the best hair transplant clinic in the world.

Not that easy. You need to have a decent quality hair for it to grow again when transplanted. Black people have strong hair. But blonde, thin hair, might not be suitable for a hair transplant.

In any case, Hamilton did not lost his hair this fast didn't he? This Vettel thing is just dramatic...

Unfortunately Lewis suffered from hair loss and a receding hair line in his early 20s. In 2007 he was visibly balding.

Today, haie hasn't just reforn but he has enviable haie growth on his entire head.

He's basically a human lion and even scored a L'Oréal ambassador deal.

Damn! Did not remember how bad Lewis was at some point...

This Vettel thing is just dramatic...

Not really that dramatic, he was clearly fully thinned out at the front already, it's just less evident with scruffy hair...

I think he should go for the full Hans Stuck circa 1985 look, personally.

Been there myself though... took me two years to get through the scruffy stage and just accept it, but the day after I first shaved it all off I realised I should have just done it sooner.

I have more hair under my pit arm than on my head
