Thank you @fortuner (y)

For a start, here is a list of the technical changes for the 2018 season, summarized from an article published on the official Formula 1 webiste.

LINK: What are the new F1 technical rules for 2018?

1- SHARK FINS AND T WINGS ARE DROPPED:
The T-wing was a result of a "loophole" that teams took advantage. The purpose of these components was to direct the airflow towards the rear wing for a better downforce, in addition that they (T-wings) generate some additional downforce.

2- HALOS:
This is the most noticeable, and one of the most talked about (read: criticized) changes in F1 cars for this year. The main purpose of the halo is to increase the safety of the driver by keeping flying debris out of the driver's head. The introduction of the halo has increased the weight of the F1 car, so this will be a challenge for the teams when it comes to the performance ballast. A cool fact is that the halo can support the weight of a London double-decker bus!

3- TRICK SUSPENSIONS ARE BANNED:
In 2017, Red Bull and Ferrari came up with a suspension system that allows to change the ride height of the car depending on the steering angle, and this helps in improving the aero performance of the car. FIA has banned such developments for 2018.

I wouldn't hate on the Halo personally. But I think it looks like a fat persons thong.

... and I mean thong in both the Aussie and British sense :D

Red bull and Renault cars are the best looking until now.

I think the halo is ridicules and limits the driver view.

I'm rooting for Ferrari this year.

That is a very red livery, reminds me of the F2007. There are some interesting developments around their unique side pod area as well, thanks to the opening at the top surface, Ferrari is able to keep the width of the side pods very tight and compact.
