Not a poll, just a photo comparison:

lol ok...so I kicked the thread off. I better get back to work...so feel free to add. :D

So I see the inevitable has happened.

I think the luxury interior looks better on the C and BMW takes it for the modern one.

Hey... funny how that works ;)

as far as the face goes, I would say the C class looks better. Other then that the new 3 does have the upper hand as one would expect.

Overall the 3-Series is going to be the superior car, but the C-Class facelift has finally made it complete. Just saw the coupe on the road today, looks great in real world surroundings and the front end is slightly different.

I gotta admit, the face to face shot makes it a close call. The 3er looks like it's frowning, and the MB looks surprised. But I'd give it to the 3er for the fact that its design is a bit sharper, in and out.

well.... to me the C has a better stance, authoritarian , elegant , dinamic . The 3er a little to angry, head down , but interesting nonetheless .

The C is obviously the underdog as the 3 is newer. I'd have to see the 3 to make a true call. If I didn't have a Benz already, I'd have more inclination to go with the C, but if it were real life (with my E), and as a second car, I'd go new 3-Series by default, just to have some variation (pointless to have a C and E).

Audi vs BMW vs M-B...little weight saving here and different tech there...Actually nothing changed in comparison where looks, design and trim differences are the topic. Over the years the three brands kept the order (in my books) M-B + BMW either on par or the one better the other due to model change over and Audi plays 3rd party;)

As life goes, the more we move forward the less things change:eusa_clap

It's always difficult to judge a car from photos particulary when its a car you never seen IRL. A design floats so much better in the flesh than the photos tells you. That picture of C-class showing the front looks like a large SUV to me and its not a flattering view but in real it looks much better. Those who seen the new 3-series says it got a sportiest apperance than any bimmer for some time now. And the interior is superior to E90. I think the new 3-series going to be really hot once you see the car.

if I was in the market for one of these, definitely the bimmer for me. And looking like this:

The C is obviously the underdog as the 3 is newer.

And when the new C arrives, it will still be the underdog. Funny how that works.

And just to point it out, Cashmere's first shot of the F30 front is a very poor shot imo, the car looks much better than that. The C looks good there because the angle is higher and better.

We are more or less on the same page AND same old...Audi plays 3rd party.
And then again Klier is correct the 3er is/was always the one to beat and bearer of the crown, nothings changed;)

Edit: And what matters the most in the comparison Mr. Mercedes is that (as with the E46) the BMW 3 series F30 leads the way again in interior ambiance and quality, that pleases me in such a way I want to jump of joy:D:bounce:

klier is so klier

C for me please..i like it's more mature and upscale looks.

Its close..but this time around i feel that the C more than holds it ground against a brand new 3er..which is the bench mark..
I would not frown upon a person picking the C over the 3..today even though the former is over half way into its life cycle..
This C is really a great car imo..
And given that im a MB fan..and i like the experience of driving Benzes more than the dynamic and abit demanding style of driving a BMW ..i would buy the C..

But in reality i would never buy a car this small.. ( i hate small cars:D)

Strange you say that Artist considering the ...(let me just practice this one more time)... Huayra is only 1 inch (2.5cm) longer, and a whopping 11 inches (28cm) shorter in height than a C-class. Yeah sure it's wider, but it's by no means big. ;) :D

^haha..you got me there..but thats a sports car..they are tiny for a reason and acutally i felt good in it..:D
then again who wouldnt.

My point is that when it comes to every day cars..im more into larger cars:)

btw, that pic comparison if from BMWblog and not mine.
