Previews a production model

The Fisker Karma is finally being delivered to customers and company is celebrating by introducing the Surf concept in Frankfurt.

Described as the "world's first electric luxury/sports automobile for an active and eco-friendly lifestyle," the Surf is a five-door shooting brake that previews a production vehicle which will be launched for the 2013 model year.

Power comes a 20 kWh lithium-ion battery which motivates two electric motors that develop 408 PS (300 kW / 402 hp) and 1,330 Nm (981 lb-ft) of torque. This enables the car to accelerate from 0-60 mph in 5.9 seconds and hit a top speed of 125 mph (201 km/h). Furthermore, Fisker says the concept can travel approximately 50 miles (80 km) on electricity alone. When the battery is depleted, a turbocharged 2.0-liter petrol engine acts as a generator to extend the range an additional 250 miles (402 km).

The overall proportion and the side window profile is very similar to the Ferrari FF. The way the back window meets the flicked up boot lid looks very awkward.

Wow, it looks mentally challenged. The rear is the biggest mess I've seen on a car.
