I am almost positive he is more than one person. The current Scott definitely either speaks English naturally, or has been doing it for a very long time. About a year ago, Scott almost seemed like he was using google translate.

Scott did lie about the i8. He said several times that the M3 and i8 would be introduced in the same month. I can only guess that there was some sort of problem.

The i8 is a progressive sports car. We can put the i8 into context as a what if?
What if the sports car was taken off the road by legislation etc , what would the solution be? how can the sports car progress to survive.
The early reviews speak for themselves that this is a Brave New World.

The i8 is an interesting car from design to drivetrain as you will learn soon...

Yawn... the idea was to create an extreme modern vehicle with tech of the future, but the more i see all the spyshots through all these years it's going already boring, design wise also. Too many concepts, too much wannabe advertisment by fake insiders... Maybe we will see even new Mission impossible movie with another concept before the final product will be released. IMO they should had inroduced 1 only concept before the production version to keep the wow effect.
And.. to say that there so no real competition is a very conceited point of view, i want just to admit we have on the market the SLS, soon SLC, R8, new Quattro in sight, 911, (in the meanwhile some of that brands have even e-supersportscars) so is there really a need to push this strange hybrid thing if we have so much REAL sportscars out there? I'm worry that the i8 it's just a gadget to push sales of the i3 as an advertisment. During all this developing process of the 1,5l i8 we could have already 2 generations of the M1 successor that could keep the sporty image of BMW and push sales for the whole brand.

Both products are new additions to the i generation.
