Amg stated that they didn't do awd to preserve the feel and driving dynamics of the AMG C-Class, i.e. tail out dynamics. I don't know why everyone thinks awd is needed everywhere.

Not saying it's needed. I just thought they were giving these cars that.

No EVO review! the latest one from them is Cayman GT4 but the C63 reviews were available for the media first. Whats taking them so long.

There is a comparison in Car magazine between M3 and C63. Their conclusion, M3 more fun to drive, C63 a better allrounder. Both cars were rated with 5 stars out of 5.

M3 = sportier, rawer, more challenging and more black and white in character.
C63 = more complete allrounder, less fuel efficient but dynamcially just as awesome.

Nice, that's an outcome I can live with. Particularly because that means the M3 won in my book.

Are there any other twin tests apart from UK CAR magazine and Auto Hoje?
CAR leaned more towards the Merc and the latter gave ultimate victory to the Beemer. That's 1-1 so far and goes to show how tightly contested this segment has become...even before next years RS4 and Jag XE-R add some to the mix

I'm not trying to start an argument or heated debate, but I'm interested in WHY you want to know?

If you're a serious buyer weighing up the AMG C 63 and the M3, then why does it matter what somebody else thinks of them? Surely you should find out for yourself, as what works for one person might not work for you?

If you have no intentions of buying either, then even more so, why do you care? I'm not suggesting YOU are such a person, but getting a sense of satisfaction from car "A" beating car "B" just because the former is made by your favourite manufacturer, would be quite bizarre and is the stuff of silly childish fanboyism.

No offence meant and hopefully none taken. :)

None taken, was simply curious as to how the press has been receiving either car. And agreed, putting the '1-1' comparo in there only helps to fuel those of a certain type of character.
