What a pile of shit, this is a mockery of the F40. The headlights look like melted liquorice and the front section looks odd.

The only resemblance to an F40 is the shape of the rear spoiler. The greenhouse is like a canopy and totally different. Wheel design has no resemblance.

Its an acquired taste and if I was a wealthy person who could afford to splurge out a few million dollars for a special Ferrari then would rather have made it look like something decent to look at. If you want to make it look like a modern F40 then at least ask Pininfarina to make it look special.

Better yet, I’d ask Florian Flatau to design it, the guy who designed the GMA S1 LM (McLaren F1 tribute), Tuthill GT One (Porsche GT1 tribute), a lot of the Singers and the new Meyers Manx. The man obviously can design a tribute while improving rather than ruining the original design

Rumour : The Ferrari Amalfi Spider is set to be unveiled on 12 March.

Is this a FL for the 296? Wow cant believe the 296 is close to 5 years old already, felt like yesterday it was introduced.

It will be a facelift, but there is talk of a total overhaul of the car, and will make this "M" version "unrecognisable" from the current 296.
A bit like the SF90 and the 849 Testarossa.

Judging by the Testarossa and the current 296 it's the latter older car that looks far more desirable and makes me concerned if it's unrecognisable replacement will be a disaster in the styling dept.
